I lied.

would i put my homework aside to satisfy the needs of the people in my life?
would i rather play tennis with someone i see daily or go to lunch with someone i haven't hung out with in a year?
would i rather do what i need to to get into my college of choice or do what i need to to satisfy my personal goals in life?
would i rather fill my stomach by taking or fill my heart by giving?
would i rather catch up on sleep or tend to those who need me in my most conscious state?

i think it's time for a priority check.

I like these philosophy/would you rather hybrids. Quite thought-provoking.

When i first saw your blogs i thought to myself, "why are you wasting your time? If you complain about sleep-deprevation why would you spend excessive time on this?" Now after i looked at it after a month i think it was a very good idea you made it.

different anonymous, kinda same thought. i didnt read all of this, but i think i have an idea of what youre doing. i once did a blog thing and in retrospect, it was the biggest waste of time of my life. now i know the key to doing this. you dont write random shit that you did that day, you just write what you think is important and what youve learned. something meaningful. yours is mad sappy but at least you say something people would care to read. kudos.

not to begin a feud here, but i'm having trouble not taking offense to calling these blogs sappy.

and i'm still waiting for the first anonymous to reveal him/herself

Personally I feel that a choice between two opposing options isnt really the right way to go. This may sound corny, but your best option may just be to find a balance somwehere between the two. You can be selfless and a help to the world while still taking care of yourself.

Bill Gates only became the biggest philanthropist in the world after he became one of the richest men in the world.
